15 Minute Garden Lunch

With summer coming to an end, there's no better way to end the season than inviting friends over for an impromptu garden lunch.

Preparing lunch for guests does not need to be time consuming or overwhelming at all, and you can easily put out a lovely lunch, that is hearty and aesthetically pleasing in just 15 min.

Below you can find easy to follow, step-by-step, instructions on how to prepare your own quick and delicious summer meal.

15 Minute Lunch Menu: Baked Salmon, Boiled potatoes, Arugula Summer Salad

00:00 - Preheat oven to 425 degrees for the salmon, and toss potatoes into a pot of salted water on the stove on a high heat, and add olive oil.

01:00 - Set out salmon on a tin foil lined baking sheet and drizzle fish with olive oil, garlic powder and lemon juice.

02:00 - When oven is preheated, put salmon in oven and cook for 12 minutes.

02:30 - Start preparing the table. Wipe down table, and lay down the tablecloth and place settings.

6:00 - Put some fresh cut flowers into a vase and set onto the table

7:30 - Start preparing the salad. Toss arugula into a bowl along with blueberries, and raspberries. Dice up peaches and add them to the bowl as well.

8:30 - Mix olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and sunflower seeds in a bowl to create the salad dressing.

9:30 - Mix the salad with the dressing, and scoop goat cheese on top of the combination.

10:30 - Fill a pitcher with water.

11:00 - Slice a lemon, use a few slices for the water pitcher, and save the other slices for the salmon.

12:00 - Set the water and salad onto the table

14:00 - Pull out the salmon from the oven, place onto a serving place, and top with lemon slices, and set on table.

15:00 - Potatoes should be cooked. Turn the heat off, strain, and toss in a bowl with salt, olive oil and parsley, bring to table.

Voila, your 15 minute lunch is ready!

16:00 - Enjoy your meal with friends!
